Cruise
Papa Shillinghi
Nothing compares a week on a live aboard and you can stay at the most beautiful dive spots and dive when nobody else is around.
That’s why we installed a small live aboard at Santa Maria for the peak season of diving and bait ball activity.

The Boat
In the Kiswahili in East Africa, the whale shark is called the Pappa Shilling. Translated this means Die Shark with the shillings. There is a legend that says that God was as pleased as he was Whale Shark created that he instructed the angels to place gold and silver coins from heaven on the back of the Throwing fish. And so it happened that the whale shark got its signature design. As gratitude he often swims close to the surface and shimmers in the sun towards his creator to thank.
The “Papa”, as it is called by our crew, has 2 Cateripilar engines with 450 hp each. A 220V generator provides electricity on board. Like all of our cruise boats, the papaschillingi is an alternative to uncomfortable diving of small boats. The highly motivated crew takes care of the mini diving group of a maximum of 6 Guests on board. The papa has 3 cabins but is not closed with large cruise ships elsewhere to compare.

The route and the daily diving area depend on the weather and are therefore flexible.
