Swimming with wild Dolphins in their natural habitat is one of the most emotional things you can do in your life.
You meet these amazing animals in the open water. Our experienced crew will read the behaviour of the dolphins and choose the right moment to let you go not the water. Of course we will give a detailed briefing before the trip to let you know how to behave and what to do.
As we work sustainable sometimes we decide to not enter the water Specially if we have a group with many babies, so called Kindergarten groups, we will not disturb them and start to look for a group which is confident to work with us. The dolphins decide how close they come and what they do.
Perfect are feeding situations when shearwaterbirds dive into the water and feed with the dolphins.
It is advisable to bring your own snorkelling equipment, however we do provide it if you don’t have any. Diving equipment is not permitted!
Polite note:
It is regulated by law that a maximum of two persons at the same time will be allowed to be in the water with the dolphins at the same time. Therefore we rotate on board so everybody has the chance for several drops into the deep blue.

The chances of a closer interaction with the dolphins are higher if you are able to plunge a few meters into the blue of the Atlantic, due to the natural curiosity of these animals, the interest of the dolphins increases.
EXCURSIONS
For an ideal preparation our well-trained guides will give a short briefing before the departure. It is regulated by law that a maximum of two persons at the same time will be allowed to be in the water with the dolphins. The dolphins are not always in the mood to stay with the group so we usually take the time to observe them from the boat and then attempt to approach them. On some excursions the animals can only be watched from the boat. As soon as we notice that the group is travelling with pups or we feel that the dolphins are disturbed and do not want to have contact with us, we respect this. Adding the weather conditions which are not always stable we recommend to book several excursions. Please also bear in mind that you might need some time to get used to the ocean which can be up to 3,000 meters deep below you.
